577 BANGLADESHIS REPATRIATED FROM SAUDI ARABIA, QATAR
A total of 577 Bangladeshi citizens were repatriated from Saudi Arabia and Qatar today on two separate special flights of Biman Bangladesh Airlines and US-Bangla Airlines.
Of the returnees, 418 Bangladeshis returned from Riyadh and 159 from Doha, officials of the two airlines said.
"Carrying the passengers from Saudi Arabia, the special flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines landed at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 3:11pm," said Tahera Khondoker, deputy general manager (public relations) of Biman.
The chartered flight of US-Bangla Airlines landed at the Dhaka airport at 7:30am carrying 159 Bangladeshis from Doha, said the private airline in a press release.
