JAMUNA GROUP CHAIRMAN BABUL DIES OF COVID-19
Nurul Islam Babul, chairman of Jamuna Group, has died today from novel coronavirus infection at the age of 74.
He breathed his last on Monday afternoon at the Evercare Hospital in Dhaka.
Babul was tested positive for the virus on June 14. Since then he was undergoing treatment at that hospital.
Nurul Islam Babul, an architect, established Jamuna Group in the 1970s. He is also the owner of the Bangla daily Jugantor.
